The LiftPoint Light is a cellular wastewater lift station monitor. It monitors the basic functions of typical simplex and duplex wastewater lift stations and reports the status to a cloud server through an LTE cellular connection.
It has four digital on / off 110VAC inputs to monitor the lift station floats. Two 1V current transformer (CT) inputs monitor motor currents. Two 4 to 20mA inputs can be used with a variety of sensors including flow, level, pressure, and temperature, among others. Integrated battery backup keeps the LiftPoint Light alive in the event of power loss to the station so that it can report the condition.
Housed in an IP67 enclosure, the LiftPoint Light cellular lift station cellular monitor is ruggedized for harsh outdoor environments. The enclosure includes mounting flanges for securing to Unistrut or panels. This makes it very simple to add monitoring to wastewater lift stations.
Nexcomm Systems offers cloud services to maintain the data, generate reports and visualizations and send alerts and alarms through text, email, and voice. It can link motor currents to float activation. For example, it sends an alert if the float activates but it does not measure any current to the motors. Likewise, it displays motor current trends, which indicate motor wear or clogged pumps. The live status and all of the logged data are available on the website at anytime from anywhere.
The LiftPoint Light offers a complete lift station monitoring solution at a price point that is far below traditional SCADA systems and much simpler to install.
